![]() It would last a day or so and then happen again, prompting another reboot. Usually I would re-boot when this happened and things were back to normal. So you had about 10 seconds to do whatever you were doing, before the pointer reset itself to this position and you had to move it back to where you were working. The time interval was about every 10 seconds or so. The position was the same every time - close to the center of the screen. Then the mouse pointer would suddenly jump to a position on the screen at what seemed like very regular intervals. Here's what would happen - 99% of the time it would work perfectly. It did not go away when I changed the mouse pad. It came on at random times and did not go away when I changed the mouse several times. I've had a similar problem with my mouse. I disagree with most of the previous posters.
